About Me

John Carroll, EdS, M.S., LCMHCS

Mr. John Carroll earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia.  He then received his Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Georgia State University.  He earned his Christian Diploma in Counseling from Psychological Studies Institute.  Later, he earned his Educational Specialist degree from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia.

Mr. John Carroll continues to learn and grow as a professional.  He has been trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy.  He has experience working in a psychiatric hospital for several years and has worked at Craven County Schools for over 20 years.

Mr. John Carroll has been in private practice in New Bern, NC since 2011, and provides individual therapy for adults, children and adolescents in the following areas:
